Career Highlights

2023 - Earns a NASCAR Cup Series victory for 12th consecutive season with win from the pole at Atlanta in March. Secures a Playoff berth for the 10th time in 15 seasons. Wins pole position at Las Vegas and Atlanta to capture poles in two of the first five races of the season. Posts 11 top-five and 17 top-10 results en route to finishing 12th in the NCS standings. 

2022 - Captures second career NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) championship and the third career NCS title for Team Penske. Gets season started with a win in the first-ever NASCAR Clash at the Coliseum non-points race at the Los Angeles Coliseum in the debut for the NexGen race car. Wins from the pole at Darlington and drives to victory at Gateway just three weeks later. Produces memorable victory at Las Vegas to advance to the Championship 4 in the NASCAR Playoffs. Wins the pole and posts dramatic win at Phoenix to claim the NCS title in the season finale.

2021 - Finishes eighth in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship standings after advancing to the Round of Eight in the NASCAR Playoffs. Becomes the only driver that's qualified for the Playoffs multiple times to avoid elimiunation in the opening two rounds. Drives to victory in the inaugural Bristol Dirt Race, in addition to producing 10 top-five and 19 top-10 results, while leading 453 laps.

2020 - Finishes third in the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) Championship standings for his fifth top-five season in seven years. Posts three victories to go along with 12 top-five and 21 top-10 finishes in the No. 22 Ford Mustang. Earns second-consecutive victory in the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas in the second race of the season. Drives to Victory Lane at Phoenix and produces a Playoff win at Kansas to advance to the Round of 8 in the NCS postseason. Secures spot in Championship 4 for the fourth time in seven seasons and finishes third in the title race and third in the final series standings. 

2019 - Scores first win of the season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, leading 86 laps on the way to the checkered flag. Wins from the pole at Michigan International Speedway for second victory of the season. Leads series point standings for much of the year before finishing second in the regular season and earning 10 playoff points to begin team's postseason title defense. Advances to the Round of 8 in the Cup Series Playoffs and finishes the season fifth in the point standings with two wins, 12 top-five and 21 top-10 finishes while capturing two pole positions (Martinsville, Michigan).

2018 - Starts season strong with nine top-10 finishes in the first 10 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) races, highlighted by a victory at Talladega Superspeedway in the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil/AAA/Auto Club of Southern California/Autotrader Ford. Posts second win of the year in October at Martinsville Speedway for a victory that propels team into its third Championship 4 appearance in five seasons. Wins the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway with dramatic late pass for the lead that produces Team Penske's second MENCS title, Logano's first Cup Series crown and the first for a Ford driver in 14 years. Produces three wins, 13 top-five and 26 top-10 finishes over the memorable championship season. Posts two wins and four top-five finishes in five NASCAR XFINITY Series races for Team Penske, including victories at Auto Club Speedway and Watkins Glen International.

2017 - Begins the season strong with a win in the “Clash at Daytona,” the annual exhibition race to begin NASCAR’s Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway. Posts a victory for sixth consecutive Cup Series season with win at Richmond Raceway.  Also produces 10 top-five and 17 top-10 finishes to go along with two pole positions in the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil/AAA/Auto Club of Southern California/Autotrader Ford Fusion. Becomes the youngest driver to reach the 300th MENCS start milestone and also the sixth driver in history to win in their 300th start with the Richmond victory. Records one win (Las Vegas) and nine top-10 finishes in 10 NASCAR XFINITY Series starts, contributing to Team Penske’s fourth series owner championship.

2016 - Continues building on his success at Team Penske with a fourth-consecutive season driving the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil/AAA/Autotrader Ford Fusion. Wins three races with victories at Michigan, Talladega and Phoenix, in addition to the NASCAR All-Star Race at Charlotte. Scores 16 top-five and 26 top-10 finishes, three pole positions and leads 703 laps. Leads all active drivers with seven wins in the Chase since the elimination-style format was introduced. Averages a finishing position of 10.5 with an average starting position of 8.1 during the 2016 season. Records one pole and two victories in the NASCAR XFINITY Series with Team Penske’s part-time No. 12 Ford Mustang.

2015 - Driving the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil/AAA/Autotrader Ford Fusion for the third-consecutive season, enjoys a breakout year that starts by winning the Daytona 500, Team Penske’s second in the Great American Race.  Leads all NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers in several statistical categories, including wins, poles, top-10 finishes and average start.  Sets career-high numbers with six wins, 22 top fives, 28 top 10s, 1,431 laps led, a 6.9-average start and a 9.2-average finish.  Earns regular season wins at Daytona, Watkins Glen and Bristol.  Becomes first driver to ever sweep a Chase round (and second ever to win three-straight Chase races), winning all three Contender Round races at Charlotte, Kansas and Talladega.  Earns first ever weekend “sweep” by winning both Cup Series and NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) races at Watkins Glen, for his first NASCAR road-course wins.  Earns four wins in just 11 XFINITY Series starts, including three of his first five starts, en route to helping the No. 22 team earn its third-consecutive NXS Owners’ Championship.

2014 - In second full-season with Team Penske, has career-best year en route to qualifying for the Chase and the Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where he finishes fourth in the Sprint Cup Series standings. Establishes single-season career-high numbers in wins (five), top fives (16), top 10s (22), laps led (993), average starting spot (9.8) and average finishing position (11.3). Claims NASCAR Cup Series victories at Texas Motor Speedway, Richmond International Raceway, Bristol Motor Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Kansas Speedway. Sets a record with five-straight top-five finishes to begin the Chase. Earns eight top-five finishes in 10 NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) starts to help the No. 22 team win its second-straight NXS owner championship.

2013 - Competes in his first full-season with Team Penske and qualifies for first ever NASCAR Chase, where he finishes a career-best eighth in points. Earns his third-career NASCAR Cup Series victory by taking the checkered flag from the pole at Michigan International Speedway in August. Sets career high marks in top-five finishes (11), top-10 results (19), laps led (323), races led (15) and average finish (14.1). Also wins two pole positions (Michigan, Chicagoland). Wins three races in the NASCAR XFINITY Series as he helps the No. 22 team win the NXS owner championship.

2012 - Wins a combined 10 races in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR XFINITY Series. Records his second career Cup Series victory at Pocono and matches a career high with two pole positions at Pocono and Homestead. Also establishes a career high with 190 laps led. In the XFINITY Series, leads all drivers with nine wins, six poles and 1,065 laps led despite only competing in 22 of 33 races.

2011 - Competes in both the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup and XFINITY Series. In the Cup Series, wins the pole at Sonoma and Pocono and earns four top-five and six top-10 finishes. Competing in the XFINITY Series, secures a victory at Daytona and a pole at Nashville on the way to posting eight top-five and 15 top-10 finishes on the year.

2010 - Starts in all 36 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races with a best finish of second at Martinsville. Wins the pole at Bristol and earns a then career-high seven top-five and 16 top-10 finishes. Ends the year with seven top-10 results in the final 11 races. Wins two XFINITY Series races at Kentucky and Kansas and leads all drivers with eight poles. Also posts career bests of 15 top-five and 24 top-10 efforts.

2009 - Completes first full season in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and starts all 36 races. Becomes the youngest Cup Series winner in history with a victory at Loudon and follows that up by becoming the youngest winner in the 55-year history of the Cup Series Rookie of the Year award. On the year, records top-five results Charlotte, Talladega and Loudon and seven top-10 finishes. Competes in 22 of 35 Nationwide Series races, securing five race victories, four pole positions, 13 top-five and 16 top-10 results.

2008 - Joins the NASCAR XFINITY Series and competes in limited races in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Demonstrates his talent instantly by winning the pole in his second XFINITY Series start at Nashville and wins at Kentucky from the pole in just his third race, making him the youngest winner in series history. Also records poles at Richmond and Homestead. In 19 XFINITY Series races earns one win, three poles and 14 top-10 finishes. Makes Cup Series debut at Loudon in September with additional series starts at Kansas and Texas.

2007 - Begins NASCAR career competing in the NASCAR Camping World West Series. Visits Victory Lane in his first race in the West Series at Phoenix and wins the NASCAR East Series season-opener en route to the NASCAR Camping World Series East Championship and East Series Rookie of the Year honors. Ends the year with five wins, two poles, 10 top-five and 10 top-10 finishes in just 14 starts.

2006-2005 - Competes in the USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup Series. Wins one race with six top-five finishes in 2005 and wins two races with one pole and three top-five finishes in 2006.

2004 - Races in the ASA Late Model Series, earning five top-five and eight top-10 finishes.

2003 - Advances to the Georgia Asphalt Series and Southern All-Star Series while also competing in the American Speed Association National Tour.

2002 - Competes in Legends cars for the full schedule. Sets a track record with 14 consecutive wins at Atlanta Motor Speedway and wins the Young Lions National championship. Also captures the Pro National championship that year to become the youngest Pro division champion in Legends history.

2001-1999 - Begins racing Bandoleros in 1999 and quickly emerges the National Bandoleros Bandits Champion. Becomes the youngest driver to compete in a Legends car at nine years old. The following year captures the Bandoleros division championships at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C.

1999-1997 - Starts his racing career with Quarter Midgets racing in the Northeast. Captures his first championship at the age of seven in the 1997 Eastern Grand National Championship in the Junior Stock Car Quarter Midget division. Follows up his first title with Eastern Grand National Championships in 1998 and 1999.
