Biography

Two-time NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) Champion Joey Logano enters his 16th series season and his 12th year with Team Penske in 2024. As he returns behind the wheel of the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil/Hunt Brothers Pizza/Autotrader/AAA Ford Mustang, Logano is one of two active drivers with multiple Cup Series championships on his resume and he has his sights set on winning his third series title this season.

Logano enters the 2024 campaign with 32 career NCS victories, which ranks 28th on the series' all-time wins list. He is also one of only four drivers in history to have won more than 25 races before the age of 30, putting him in elite company with NASCAR legends Richard Petty, Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch.
Following his 2022 NCS championship season, Logano produced the 32nd win of his distinguished career in 2023 with his first-ever victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March. The win extended Logano's streak to 12 consecutive seasons with at least one Cup Series victory as he raced his way into the NCS Playoffs for the 10th time in 15 seasons. Logano produced 11 top-five finishes, 17 top-10 results and two pole awards while finishing 12th in the championship standings last season with the No. 22 Ford team, led by chief Paul Wolfe.

As part of NASCAR's 75th Anniversary season in 2023, 25 drivers were named to the sport's esteemed "Greatest Drivers" list throughout the spring. Logano's name was called on May 9 as he joined the ranks of NASCAR's all-time greats who all came together for a celebration at Darlington Raceway on the morning of the Goodyear 400. Logano was one of eight active, full-time drivers selected as one of NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers.
