Sam Hornish Jr. on New Hampshire Motor Speedway
“New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a flat track that can be a challenge for drivers and teams. It’s important for the race car to handle well on entry into the corners and you need to have the ability to accelerate quickly on the exit of the turns. I’ve always felt that New Hampshire and Richmond are similar to each other. After a strong run in Richmond last weekend, and a top-10 finish at Loudon in June, we hope to have a similar result this weekend.”
Crew Chief Travis Geisler on New Hampshire Motor Speedway
“New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a flat, short track which always proves difficult when trying to get a good balance on the handling of the race car. Having a car that will turn through the center and still have good forward drive off the corners is always a challenge. We had a very good car for the first race at Loudon and we have had four top-10 finishes at short tracks this season. Everyone on the Mobil 1 Dodge is looking forward to another good race.”
