July 30, 2010

LONG POND, Pa. (July 30, 2010) – Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger, scored an 11th-place starting position for the Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono Raceway on Sunday. Drivers Kurt Busch and Sam Hornish Jr. qualified in 13th and 15th place, respectively.

Keselowski was the 32nd competitor to make a qualifying attempt at the 2.5-mile tri-oval posting a fast-lap time of 53.084 seconds at a speed of 169.543 mph. The effort secured the 11th starting position for the No. 12 team.

“We caught a good cloud overhead and ran a decent lap,” said Keselowski. “That’s a solid start again. Qualifying has been good to us over the last two weeks. I feel better about our race setup than where we were the first time here. So, we’re ready to get going. We’re fighting all those things that make double duty such a challenge, but we’re ready to give our best.”

The Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500 will air live on Sunday, August 1 on the ESPN television network beginning at 1 p.m. EDT. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on MRN Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio.
