THE RACE REVIEW
·Keselowski started the race from the 20th position after lapping the 1.5-mile oval in 28.142 seconds during the Thursday evening qualifying session.
·As the race began, Keselowski radioed that he had difficulty getting his car to turn just before the center of the corners. The current series champion fought this condition for the remainder of the race.
·Despite the handling issue, Keselowski was able to take the race lead at lap 47, just prior to making his first pit stop of the day.
·In an unfortunate turn of events, the race was red flagged at lap 122 after a television camera cable fell over the speedway. Several cars were damaged as NASCAR gave the teams a 15-minute break for repairs and pit stops.
·As they tried to overcome the tight-handling condition, Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite American Salute Ford team continued to make big adjustments to the chassis to try to give the driver a car he could use to compete for the win.
·At lap 319, Keselowski was involved in an incident with the No. 10 car of Danica Patrick, which ended his night after extensive damage to the No. 2 Ford.

WHAT HAPPENED IN THE INCIDENT WITH THE 10 CAR?
“I was three-wide with Danica, didn’t know it and I cut her off and wrecked her and myself. I feel bad for her and I send my apologies to her. It was just a long night for the Miller Lite Ford.”

“It’s going to be nice to get all of our guys back. We have one of the strongest teams in the garage. I’m very proud of everyone that stepped up during the last three weeks. We’ve really improved our depth at Penske Racing, but now everyone can go back to their normal jobs. Hopefully that means we can get some of our mojo back.”
