Recap: Will Power won the pole position Friday for Saturday’s second annual Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis by setting a track record on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course in the No. 1 Verizon Team Penske Chevrolet with a lap of 1:09:4886 seconds. All four Team Penske drivers will start among the top five when the race begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon. The pole was Power’s second of the season, 38th of his career and 227th in Team Penske's IndyCar history. It marked the eighth consecutive pole position for Team Penske dating back to the race at The Milwaukee Mile last season. All four Team Penske drivers advanced out of the first two rounds of qualifying, led by Power, who was fastest in the second qualifying session at 1:09.6443. Helio Castroneves led the first round with a lap of 1:09.8917 in the No. 3 Verizon Team Penske Chevrolet. Castroneves led Team Penske with a third-place finish in the inaugural Indy GP last year.
