Recap: The annual Roar Before The 24 at Daytona International Speedway kicked off with earnest on Friday afternoon following a nearly three-month hiatus for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The weekend test session is in preparation for the 58th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the most-prestigious endurance race in North America. Acura Team Penske, coming off their championship-winning season of 2019, were consistently among the fastest cars of the day with Juan Pablo Montoya leading the day with a lap of 1:36.369 seconds in the No. 6 Acura ARX-05 during the second session. Helio Castroneves also turned the quickest lap of the day in the No. 7 Acura in the second session at 1:36.382 seconds. Business continues to pick up Saturday with three practice sessions, including the only night practice of the weekend.

 
Race: Coverage of the Rolex 24 at Daytona will begin Saturday, January 25 at 1:30 pm ET on NBC before moving around the NBC family of networks and finishing back on NBC from 12:00 pm to the checkered flag.
