Will Power earns his second career INDYCAR SERIES win at Long Beach and he has to overcome some challenges along the way.
Power qualifies the No. 12 Verizon Chevrolet on the front row, but he takes the green flag in the 12th position after all Chevrolet cars are assessed a 10-spot grid penalty. Power works his way through the field while also saving fuel, leading the final 15 laps to claim his second consecutive series victory.

Joey Logano scores his second career NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) win at Bristol Motor Speedway, leading all 300 laps.
After qualifying second in the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford, Logano has a great start at the green flag as he takes the lead coming out of turn two. Logano is dominant in the No. 22 Ford as he extends his lead up to five seconds over the rest of the field at one point in the race. Team strategy results in Logano running the final 120 laps on a single set of tires. Despite the lack of fresh rubber, Logano becomes the first driver to lead every lap in an NXS race at Bristol.
