No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger News and Notes
• This Week’s Charger… The No. 12 Penske Dodge team will use chassis PRS-618 during Sunday’s 400-mile event at Dover International Speedway. PRS-618 is a brand new chassis to the No.12 Penske Dodge fleet.
• Past Winners... The No.12 Penske Racing team is familiar with Victory Lane at the “Monster Mile.”  The team swept both NASCAR Cup Series events at the one-mile speedway in 2003, and then captured its third victory in the fall of 2004. The team also has secured three pole positions at Dover International Speedway.
• Nice Start... The Penske Dodge team has found a qualifying “spark” in the latter part of the 2009 season. Stremme has an average starting spot 14.33 since qualifying fifth at Watkins Glen International in early August.
• Tune in… David Stremme will appear at the Speed Stage at 9:30 a.m. ET on Sunday morning, September 27. Stremme will be a guest on the Motor Racing Network’s Full Speed, the MRN pre-race show that will get race fans ready for Sunday’s 400-mile event at the one-mile oval.
• Watch and Listen… The AAA 400 will be seen live on Sunday, September 27 on the ABC television network. Race coverage is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET. The event will also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as Sirius Satellite Radio, channel 128.

David Stremme on driving at Dover International Speedway
“Dover is a really cool place to race. It is like Bristol on steroids. It is considered a short track but has speeds like a superspeedway. You have to be on your toes all day. Things happen so quickly there. In the spring, we had a decent car in the race. We did the [Goodyear] tire test, which always helps the team. As a driver, you can move around. If your car does not work on the bottom, you can move up a lane and run the middle or even the top. I am excited about this weekend.”

Crew chief Roy McCauley on racing at Dover International Speedway
“Dover International Speedway is a great track. It is demanding on the driver. It is only 400 laps but it is one of the longest races of the year. We need to make sure and keep our nose clean and be there at the end of the race. We have to keep ourselves in position all day and take advantage of every opportunity. We have made great strides in the last couple of months and this will be another good test to see where we shake out. We had a good car there in the spring and were caught up in a wreck right there at the finish. I am hoping we can capture the finish we deserve this Sunday afternoon.”
