Sam Hornish Jr. on Homestead-Miami Speedway
“As the 2009 season comes to close, it has been a year of progress and learning for myself and the No. 77 team. Overall, we have performed better this season with seven top-10 and three top-five finishes. We also had our first victory in the NASCAR Showdown. The short-track program has been our strong suit this year, but we have made steady progress in our intermediate program all year. I’m looking forward to ending the season on a high note this weekend in Homestead and I am excited for what the 2010 season holds for the Mobil 1 team.”

Crew Chief Travis Geisler on Homestead-Miami Speedway
“As the season comes to an end, the Mobil 1 team is really focused on ending with a strong run. Without a race the next weekend, it is always good to finish on a strong note. We feel that our intermediate program has made good progress and the unique Homestead layout will be a good test. I want to thank everyone for their support this season and I wish everyone a good off-season.”
