No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger News and Notes
• This Week’s Charger… The No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger team will use chassis PRS-708 during Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Shelby American at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. PRS-708 is a brand new chassis to the No. 12 Dodge team.
• Come Race With Me... Keselowski, along with fellow Penske Racing drivers Sam Hornish Jr.,  Justin Allgaier and Parker Kligerman will be at Pole Position Raceway in Las Vegas on Thursday, February 25 to help the Kurt Busch Foundation. The second annual Kurt Busch Sprint for the Kids event will benefit the Victory Junction Gang Camp. Keselowski will race with other top NASCAR drivers, as well as fans, in a one-hour endurance kart race. The event starts at 6 pm PT.
• No. 12 Penske Dodge in 2010... After two events, Keselowski and the No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger team currently sit 28th in the Cup Series driver and owner point standings. Keselowski finished 21st in last weekend’s Auto Club 500 in Fontana, Calif., following a late-race spin.

• Watch and Listen… The Shelby American will be seen live on Sunday, February 28 on the FOX television network. Race coverage is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. ET. The event will also be heard live on PRN Radio as well as Sirius Satellite Radio, channel 128.
• The Rest is History... Penske Racing has made 29 Cup Series starts at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The organization has captured one pole, three top-five finishes and eight top-10 results.  In the inaugural event in 1998, both the No. 2 and No. 12 Penske entries finished in the top-five.

“Las Vegas in a Cup car is extremely fast, one of the fastest mile-and-a-half tracks that we visit. By the end of the race the sun has gone down and you will pick up grip so you need to have your car setup for that. The key is running the whole race without getting into trouble. I didn’t do that in my first Cup start there last year.  It’s such an ‘edge’ track and you have to really stay tuned in mentally. You need to concentrate on hitting your marks, but you also have to charge the corner. As a team we made a lot of progress last week at California. Hopefully, we’ll hit the jackpot this weekend with the No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger.”

“Track position is always important, but at Las Vegas it seems to be paramount. Clean air will make any car feel like it’s handling a little better. To get out front and enjoy that downforce you need to be able to get through the corners. Vegas is very fast for a mile-and-a-half track and it can be one of the most-challenging places for setting up a car. There is a fine line you have to walk between fast and wrecking and there is little margin for error. We’ve had good cars to start the season and we want to continue that this weekend.”
