What are the keys to success at Richmond International Raceway?
“I’ve always enjoyed racing at Richmond International Raceway and have been able to find success there in both the IndyCar Series as well as in NASCAR. Last season, the Mobil 1 team earned top-10 finishes in both races at Richmond and we are all excited to return and hopefully race for similar results. Richmond is a multi-groove racetrack and that makes for exciting racing for drivers and fans alike. Patience is key at short tracks. You have to put yourself in position to be there at the end of the race when it matters most.”

What are your thoughts for this weekend’s race at Richmond International Raceway?
“Saturday night at Richmond always produces exciting racing. The track seems to widen out during the race and allows for some great-side-by-side racing. The Mobil 1 Dodge is ready to go and repeat our strong performances at Richmond last season. It is important to get the car turning well through the center of the corners while still having the rear secure under throttle on exit. We will focus on these keys during our practice on Friday to get the car dialed in for Sam.”
