No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger News and Notes
• This Week’s Charger… The No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger team will use chassis PRS-723 during Sunday’s 350-kilometer race at Infineon Raceway. Brad Keselowski drove this car to a 12th-place finish at Martinsville Speedway in March.
• No. 12 Penske Dodge in 2010... After 15 events, Keselowski and the No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger team currently sit 24th in the Cup Series driver and owner point standings.
• First Timer… Keselowski will be making his first NASCAR Cup Series start at Infineon Raceway this weekend. There are two remaining tracks on the Cup Series schedule where Keselowski has yet to make a series start: Watkins Glen International and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
• Keselowski Road Course Stats… While Keselowski has yet to make a road course start in the Cup Series, he has competed in six road course races in Nationwide Series competition. In those starts, Keselowski has garnered one top-five and four top-10 finishes.
• Practice Makes Perfect… In an effort to become more-comfortable with the 1.99-mile, 11-turn Infineon Raceway prior to this weekend, Keselowski tested a late model stock car at the track in April.
• Helping Hand from a Teammate… Keselowski will not practice his car on Saturday as he will be at Road America for the inaugural NASCAR Nationwide Series event at the Wisconsin road course. Penske Racing teammate, Kurt Busch, will practice in the No. 12 for a few laps during the Saturday sessions at Infineon Raceway. 
• The Rest is History... Starting from the seventh position, Rusty Wallace scored the only victory for Penske Racing at Infineon Raceway in May of 1996. In 35 combined starts at the track, the organization also has two poles, 10 top-five and 16 top-10 finishes. In addition, Helio Castroneves picked up a victory for Team Penske at the track in IndyCar Series competition in August of 2008.

“It’s definitely going to be a unique challenge for both my Dodge cars this weekend. To race two completely different road courses is going to be a challenge, but it will be a lot of fun too. Add the thousands of miles between Road America and Infineon and it’s going to be a long weekend. But I wouldn’t have signed up for it if I didn’t enjoy it. I love driving these race cars and to have this challenge is exciting. I’m a racer and this is an incredible opportunity to race against great drivers in unique settings.”

Brad Keselowski on preparing for the grueling, double-duty weekend
“This weekend, with the back and forth between Sonoma and Road America, is going to be tough. I really don’t have a game plan other than to get tough too. We have four straight days on track between both of these races. Every one of those days will be grueling. Hopefully I can lean on my teammates a little bit so that I can be ready for Saturday and Sunday. Those are the two days that really matter.”

“The biggest key to Infineon is to have a car that is good on the long run. This race usually turns into a fuel mileage race, but you still have to have a car that can race with people at the end. Brakes play a big part in that. Road course racing is very hard on brakes so you have to constantly remind your driver to not abuse them. I love road course racing. The two races that we have each year give you a nice break in the action and it mixes it up a little bit. I always look forward to running out west; the fans and the racing are great.”
