Sonoma, Calif. (June 18, 2010) - Kurt Busch, driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger, led his Penske Racing teammates in Cup Series qualifying today at Infineon Raceway by securing the third-place starting position. Brad Keselowski will start 36th and Sam Hornish Jr. will start 40th to round out the Penske Racing entries.

Busch was the 23rd driver to make a qualification attempt this afternoon at the 2.52 mile California road course. He clocked a fast lap of 76.556 seconds at a speed of 93.579 miles per hour in the Miller Lite-sponsored No. 2 car.

"It was a great qualifying lap for our Miller Lite Dodge. We were slipping around too much earlier today and couldn't get the car underneath me," said Busch. "The Miller Lite guys made some great adjustments between practice and qualifying which really helped the car with forward bite.

"I didn't think that we were pole material, we were just shooting for a top-10 starting spot and nailed it. With Steve (Addington, crew chief) and my guys, it just seems like when you find a good rhythm and when you're looking at somebody and know what they're thinking without even saying something (you) make good adjustments. I feel that's where our team is really doing well right now - making good adjustments and making the Miller Lite Dodge a little better."

The Toyota/Save Mart 350 will air live on Sunday, June 20, 2010 on the TNT television network beginning at 3 p.m. EDT. The race will also be broadcast live on PRN Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio.
