CONCORD, N.C. (October 14, 2010) – Kurt Busch, driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger, led the Penske Racing trio of Cup Series drivers with a 15th-place qualifying effort for the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Busch was the 17th qualifier to make an attempt at the 1.5-mile oval. He posted a fast-lap time of 28.406 seconds at a speed of 190.101 mph placing the No. 2 team in the 15th spot on the starting grid for Saturday’s main event.

“We came, we played, and we ended up just a little bit short,” said Busch. “Five-hundred miles here is a long race. We know how to run well here and we know our way to victory lane. We’ve got our eye on a big prize and a chance to make history. We'll dial in our Miller Lite Dodge tomorrow and get after it Saturday night."

Penske Racing teammates Sam Hornish Jr. and Brad Keselowski qualified 19th and 31st, respectively.

The Bank of America 500 will air live on Saturday, October 16 on the ABC television network beginning at 7:30 p.m. EDT. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on PRN Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio.
