CONCORD, N.C. (May 20, 2011) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified fourth for the NASCAR All-Star Showdown at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday evening. The All-Star Showdown will fill two of the three remaining spots in the NASCAR All-Star race tomorrow night.
He toured the 1.5-mile oval in 28.306 seconds, or 190.772 miles per hour. After two consecutive years of automatically qualifying for the NASCAR All-Star Race, Keselowski will look to finish in one of the top-two spots in the qualifying race.
"Starting up front is important in this race and that will give us a good spot," said Keselowski. "I was pretty happy with the car throughout the practice session. It seems like we have made some gains recently. The All-Star Race is a fun event and I hope we can get up there in the transfer spots before the checkered flag."
