No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger News and Notes
• This Week’s Charger… The No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team will use chassis PRS-753 during Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS). This is a new chassis to the No. 2 fleet.
• No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge in 2011... After 11 points-paying events, Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team sit 24th in the Cup Series driver and owner point standings. The team is coming off a 13th-place finish in the FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks at Dover International Speedway last Sunday.
• 2011 All-Star Rewind… By finishing second in last weekend’s All-Star Showdown, Keselowski earned a spot in the NASCAR All-Star Race for the third-consecutive year. Brake issues forced Keselowski down pit road early in the event and he lost six laps to the leaders. However, as he displayed one of the fastest cars on the track, Keselowski was able to garner five of the laps back in a great display of determination by the Miller Lite Dodge team. 
• First Charlotte Start … Keselowski made an impressive CMS debut in the fall of 2009. After starting the race from the eighth position, the soon-to-be Penske Racing driver kept his car at the front of the field and eventually crossed the finish line in the 12th position. This marked his last Cup start prior to joining the Penske team.
• Movin’ on Up… Over the last two points-paying weekends, Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge team have moved up four positions in the Cup Series points standings.
• Save Your Summer! Tastepoints.com… The featured tag line on the bumper of the “Blue Deuce” this weekend at Charlotte will be “Save Your Summer! Tastepoints.com.” The Tastepoints.com program encourages people to collect codes off specially-packaged Miller Lite that can be redeemed for a variety of prizes, including the chance to participate in the Miller Lite 1100 – a combination of the Indy 500 and the Coca-600.
•  The Rest is History... Penske Racing made its first start in the annual 500-mile fall race at CMS on October 8, 1972 with Dave Marcis behind the wheel of the famous Penske Racing No. 2 car. In 89 combined starts, Penske Racing drivers have recorded one win, seven poles, 13 top-five and 30 top-10 finishes at the 1.5-mile Charlotte oval.

"The 600 is a long race. Thankfully we had the All-Star race last weekend that gives you a warm-up to see if you have your stuff right. The approach is that you have to be there at the end of race. You can't beat your car up the first 500 miles and expect to win the race. Six-hundred miles is a long way both mentally and physically. You have to have a lot of durability in your car and make sure that you're fast at the end. The last 100 miles gets real racy."

“Our No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge was so fast last weekend in the All-Star Showdown and the All-Star Race. Unfortunately we didn’t get the finish we deserved in the All-Star Race. Still, to transfer in from the Showdown and have a lot of speed in the All-Star Race gives us confidence as we prepare for the animal that is the Coca-Cola 600. If I can put in a good qualifying lap on Thursday I’m confident we can race up front. Clean air was very important last week and I don’t think it will be any different in the 600.”

“The 600 is such a demanding race on the car, crew and driver. The car has to last all 600 miles without having any mechanical failures and the driver and crew have to stay mentally and physically sharp. We tried some different packages last week in the All-Star event and we feel really good about our chances this week. The car we are taking, from an aerodynamic standpoint, is one of the best that Penske Racing has ever built. This team is close to taking the next step and we need a good, solid finish at Charlotte to continue the momentum we’ve been building.”
