KESELOWSKI QUALIFIES FIFTH AT INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
Teammate Kurt Busch Qualifies Fourth for the 18th Running of the Brickyard 400
SPEEDWAY, Ind. (July 30, 2011) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified fifth for Sunday’s Brickyard 400 presented by BigMachineRecords.com at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It marks the first top-five start for Keselowski at the Brickyard.
Keselowski toured the 2.5-mile rectangle in 49.300 seconds, or 182.556 miles per hour. Penske Racing teammate Kurt Busch will start from the fourth position.
“A great lap for the Miller Lite Dodge here at Indianapolis,” said Keselowski. “Starting up front here is key to a good race. Paul. (Wolfe, crew chief) made some great adjustments just before qualifying and the car felt very stable. I really want to get Mr. Penske a NASCAR win here at the Brickyard. This will give us a good chance to do that.”
The Brickyard 400 will air live at 1:00 p.m. ET on ESPN on Sunday, July 31. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the IMS Radio Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
