August 26, 2011

BRISTOL, Tenn. (August 26, 2011) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified eighth for Saturday’s Irwin Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS).

Keselowski toured the .533-mile, high-banked oval in 15.683 seconds, or 122,349 miles per hour. The Penske Racing driver will be searching for his first NASCAR Cup Series win at BMS. He owns one victory in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at the track. Penske Racing teammate Kurt Busch will start from the 10th position.

“Anytime you can start in the top 10 at Bristol, that’s a good place to be and think you can have a shot at winning the race from there,” said Keselowski. “We’ve got a good Miller Lite Dodge Charger. We’re pretty good in race trim. We went back-and-forth on a few things; so we’ll see how everything works out Saturday night.”

The Irwin Tools Night Race will air live at 7:30 p.m. ET on the ABC network on Saturday, August 27. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Performance Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
