Keslowski Qualifies 14th At Atlanta Motor Speedway

HAMPTON, Ga. (September 3, 2011) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified 14th for Sunday night’s AdvoCare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS).
Keselowski toured the 1.54-mile, high-banked oval in 29.949 seconds, or 185.11 miles per hour. The Penske Racing driver will looking to score his first victory at AMS, and by doing so he would pick up the $3 million prize for the Sprint Summer Showdown. Teammate Kurt Busch qualified 10th in the No. 2 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge.
“We were just a little slow, a little off the pace with the Miller Lite Dodge,” said Keselowski. “Atlanta has been a little tough on us. We put up a good lap in practice and it was unfortunate that we couldn’t back it up but we’re still plugging away, still working on it.”
The AdvoCare 500 will air live at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN on Sunday, September 4. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Performance Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
