Keselowski Qualifies 12th at Phoenix International Raceway

AVONDALE, Ariz. (November 12, 2011) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified 12th for Sunday’s Kobalt Tools 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.
Keselowski toured the newly-configured, one-mile oval in 26.585 seconds, or 135.415 miles per hour. Penske Racing teammate Kurt Busch qualified 17th in the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge.
“That was faster than I thought it was,” said Keselowski. “The track was not in great shape, but it’s the same for everybody. I’m happy to pick up, just so hard to tell what’s a good lap and what’s a bad lap right now; really hard to tell. But it gives us a good starting spot for the Miller Lite Dodge and I think that will be important tomorrow.”
The Kobalt Tools 500 will air live at 3:00 p.m. ET on ESPN on Sunday, November 13. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
