No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger News and Notes
• This Week’s Charger… The No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team will race chassis PRS-811 during Sunday’s Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS). This is a new chassis to the No. 2 fleet.
• No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger in 2012… After two points-paying events, Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team are ranked 12th in the 2012 driver and owner points standings. The team is coming off a fifth- place finish last weekend in the Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.
• Twitter History…Keselowski made social media history during the Daytona 500 when he became the first driver to tweet pictures from his racecar. A quantifiable success, the attention garnered during the extended red-flag period not only tripled his Twitter following to over 200,000, but it also provided an interesting storyline during the long delay.
• 350 and 100… Two nice, round numbers that represent the total number of all-time race victories by Penske Racing and the total number of stock car wins by Penske Racing, respectively. The most recent victory came in the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway when Keselowski scored the win. 
• Shedding the Dark Horse Label… Thanks to three wins, 10 top-five finishes, 14 top-10 results and 19 races led for a total of 287 laps, Keselowski’s breakout 2011 Cup Series season has him poised to be a legitimate contender for the championship in 2012. Keselowski is currently eight point positions higher than at this time last season.
• Deuces Wild… The featured tag line on the rear bumper of the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge this weekend in Las Vegas is “Deuces Wild.” Walk through any casino in town and you can see why this tag line was chosen.
• Have a Beer with Brad… Keselowski will appear at Dick’s Last Resort inside the Excalibur Casino on Thursday, March 8 at 8:00 pm PT. Dick’s Last Resort is located at 3850 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109
• The Rest is History... Penske Racing has made 34 Cup Series starts at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The organization has captured two poles, three top-five finishes and nine top-10 results.  At the inaugural event in 1998, both the No. 2 and No. 12 Penske entries finished in the top-five.

“As a fan of the sport, and obviously I’m in that key 18-49 demographic, I find myself asking the question of what would I want to see.  And to that end, that’s what I try to show and that’s what I try to be as an athlete/entertainer, race car driver, whatever you want to call me.  And you know to me, the things that I did on Twitter that night (of the Daytona 500) was something that I would want to see. There are people that I follow on Twitter and if you were to ask me what I’d want to see from them, that’s what I would want to see. That’s all I did. I don’t think any harder than that and I’m glad that people liked it and enjoyed it. It was really cool to pick up my phone and see that I gained 160,000 followers.”

“Las Vegas in a Cup car is extremely fast, one of the fastest mile-and-a-half tracks that we visit. The key is running the whole race without getting into trouble. It’s such an ‘edge’ track and you have to really stay tuned in mentally. You need to concentrate on hitting your marks, but you also have to charge the corner. As a team I’m excited at how fast our cars have been to start the season. Hopefully, we’ll hit the jackpot this weekend with the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger.”

“Track position is always important, but at Las Vegas it seems to be paramount. Clean air will make any car feel like it’s handling a little better. To get out front and enjoy that downforce you need to be able to get through the corners. Vegas is very fast for a mile-and-a-half track and it can be one of the most challenging places for setting up a car. There is a fine line you have to walk between fast and wrecking and there is little margin for error. We’ve had good cars to start the season and we want to continue that this weekend.”
