Keselowski Qualifies 17th at Auto Club Speedway

FONTANA, Calif. (March 23, 2012) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team will start 17th for the Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway.
Keselowski toured the two-mile oval in 39.121 seconds, or 184.044 miles per hour. Penske Racing teammate, AJ Allmendinger, will start the race from the 25th position.
“Obviously, Fontana is a lot different than Bristol and even though we ran well last weekend, we have to prove it again here at Fontana,” said Keselowski. “Our Miller Lite Dodge is pretty good, but we could still use some speed. This is a tricky place and you have to commit to the line that you’re going to run when you start your lap. There are three different lines that you can run on this track and you have to pick the one that best fits your car. We’ve got some work to do. We were strong in practice and just missed on our qualifying lap.”
The Auto Club 400 will air live at 2:30 pm ET on the FOX network. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite channel 90.
