Keselowski Qualifies Eighth at Texas Motor Speedway

FORT WORTH, Tex. (April 13, 2012) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified eighth for Saturday night's Samsung Mobile 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. The qualifying result marks the second-consecutive top-10 starting spot for Keselowski, as well as his third top-10 start of the season.
Keselowski toured the 1.5-mile, quad-oval in 28.514 seconds, or 189.381 miles per hour. Penske Racing teammate AJ Allmendinger qualified 12th in the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge.
"A nice pickup from practice for the Miller Lite Dodge," said Keselowski. "We had some struggles with the handling in practice, but this entire team worked hard and gave me a good car for qualifying. We can win the race from the eighth position, for sure."
The Samsung Mobile 500 will air live at 7:00 p.m. ET on the FOX Network on Saturday, April 14. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Performance Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
