Keselowski to Start 19th in the All-Star Race

May 18, 2012

CONCORD, N.C. (May 18, 2012) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified 19th for Saturday night’s Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Qualifying for the All-Star Race features a three-lap run with a four-tire pit stop. Keselowski toured the 1.5-mile oval in 120.436 seconds, but the team was assessed a 10-second penalty after two loose lug nuts were discovered on the left front wheel.

“Unfortunately we had a little trouble there on the pit stop,” said Keselowski. “My pit crew has been rock solid for several weeks now so I can’t be too upset. We’re definitely behind the eight ball a little bit, but the Miller Lite Dodge is pretty fast so I think we can make it interesting.”

The All-Star weekend will air live at 7:00 p.m. ET on the SPEED Channel tomorrow night. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
