June 16, 2012
BROOKLYN, Mich. (June 16, 2012) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified 25th for Sunday’s Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway.
Keselowski toured the two-mile oval in 36.28 seconds, or 198.473 miles per hour. Penske Racing teammate AJ Allmendinger qualified 20th in the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge Charger.
“I thought my lap was really good with the Miller Lite Dodge and it didn’t show up on the charts as being that good,” said Keselowski. “Definitely a gain from where we were yesterday so I’m proud of that. That was the best the car had been by far and I thought it would run faster but it wasn’t meant to be.”
The Quicken Loans 400 will air live at 12:00 p.m. ET on TNT on Sunday afternoon. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
