Keselowski Qualifies 13th at Sonoma

SONOMA, Calif. (June 22, 2012) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified 13th for Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma (formerly Infineon Raceway).
Keselowski toured the 10-turn, 1.99-mile road course in 79.995 seconds, or 94.269 miles per hour. Penske Racing teammate AJ Allmendinger qualified 17th in the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge Charger.
Keselowski, who scored top-10 finishes in both road course races in 2011, applauded the effort by his team on Friday.
“I’m really proud of everyone on the Miller Lite Dodge team,” said Keselowski. “We struggled a little bit earlier in the day, but my team went to work and we were able to put down a solid qualifying lap. We have a little more work to do to get the car to where it’s capable of winning, but I’m confident we can get there.”
The Toyota/Save Mart 350 will air live at 2:00 p.m. ET on TNT on Sunday afternoon. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Performance Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
