Keselowski Qualifies Eighth at Texas Motor Speedway

FORT WORTH, Tex. (November 2, 2012) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified eighth for Sunday’s AAA Texas 500 – the eighth race of the 2012 Chase for the Championship – at Texas Motor Speedway.
Keselowski toured the 1.5-mile oval in 28.491 seconds, or 189.534 miles per hour, in in the Friday afternoon time trial session. Sam Hornish Jr. qualified 17th in the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge Charger.
“It feels like the pole,” said Keselowski. “It may not be the pole, but it feels like the pole for us. The Miller Lite Dodge has had a ton of speed since we’ve been here in race trim. I think that bodes very well for us on Sunday.”
The AAA Texas 500 will air live at 2:00 p.m. ET on the ESPN on Sunday afternoon. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Performance Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
