Keselowski Qualifies Third at Auto Club Speedway
March 23, 2013
FONTANA, Calif. (March 22, 2013) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford team qualified third for the Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway on Friday afternoon. However, the current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion will move to the rear for Sunday’s race after changing engines prior to the time trial session.
Penske Racing teammate, Joey Logano, will start the race from the sixth position in the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Fusion.
“The Miller Lite Ford is pretty fast,” said Keselowski. “I am not a really good qualifier so you know if we qualify well we are going to be a threat, even though we will move to the back. It is a good sign. Quite honestly I think this will be one of the best races of the year.”
The Auto Club 400 will air live at 3:00 p.m. ET on the FOX network on Sunday afternoon. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
