THE RACE REVIEW

· Keselowski started the annual All-Star race from the 12th position after a cumulative time of 114.989 seconds during the Friday night qualifying session.

· After taking the green flag Saturday night following a slight delay due to rain showers in the area, Keselowski suffered a broken drivetrain on lap 2 while running in the 14th position.

· Keselowski unfortunately was not able to continue in the event after taking the Miller Lite Ford Fusion to the garage area. He wound up scored in 22nd place in the All-Star race.

WHAT THEY ARE SAYING

WHAT HAPPENED ON THE SECOND LAP OF THE RACE?

“Something just broke in the back half of the drive train, either the transmission or drive shaft gear – I’m not sure which one – but it’s one of those deals, unfortunately. We’ll try to learn from it and move on.”

HOW DISAPPOINTING IS IT NOT TO RUN ALL THE LAPS AND LEARN FOR THE 600?

“You’d like to learn a little bit more about the track and the race, but I’ve got a teammate out there in Joey Logano and hopefully he can learn something.”
