Keselowski Qualifies Fourth at Kansas Speedway

October 4, 2013

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (October 4, 2013) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion team qualified fourth for the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway on Friday afternoon.

The reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) champion toured the 1.5-mile oval in 29.996 seconds, or 161.594 mph. Keselowski will be looking for his second career NSCS win at Kansas with his first coming in the spring race of 2011.

Penske Racing teammate, Joey Logano, will start the race from the fifth position in the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Fusion.

“Obviously there is a little more out there because Jimmie (Johnson) and Ricky (Stenhouse) were both faster. It was a decent lap for the Miller Lite Ford though and should get us a solid starting spot. We will take it and move on.”

The Hollywood Casino 400 will air live at 2:00 p.m. ET on ESPN on Sunday afternoon. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
