Recap: Brad Keselowski drove his No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion to a third-place qualifying effort on Friday evening at Michigan International Speedway to lead the Team Penske charge for Sunday’s Quicken Loans 400 in the Irish Hills. Keselowski, along with his teammate Joey Logano, were near the front of the speed charts in the first two rounds of qualifying at the two-mile oval, each clocking in top-10 times. In the final round, Keselowski put his Fusion on the pole early in the round with a lap of 35.741 seconds, but slipped back to third as the five-minute session came to a close. Logano couldn’t back up his times from the first two rounds in the final session. His No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Fusion will start 11th on Sunday afternoon after posting a lap of 35.925 seconds.
