Recap: Joey Logano and No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Fusion team led the Team Penske charge in qualifying at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday afternoon, clocking in the 10th quickest time with a lap of 49.746 seconds around the 2.66-mile oval. Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion, was right behind Logano, turning the 11th quickest lap at 49.820 seconds. Both cars were around each other all day, as Keselowski was seventh and Logano eighth in the first round of qualifying. It was the best qualifying effort for both Team Penske cars at a restrictor-plate track this season.
