Recap: Joey Logano came up .008 seconds short of becoming the first driver to earn four-consecutive pole positions at Martinsville Speedway on Friday afternoon, qualifying second for Sunday's Goody's 500 in the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Fusion. Despite missing the fourth straight pole position, Logano earned his fifth consecutive front row.  Brad Keselowski qualified in the 19th position in the No. 2 Alliance Truck Parts Ford Fusion with a lap time of 19.507 seconds turned in the second round of qualifying. Logano led qualifying in the first round, the timed in sixth in the second round.
