Recap: Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Autotrader Ford Fusion team enjoyed a solid Friday afternoon at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS), capping it off with a fifth-place qualifying effort for Sunday's Folds of Honor Quik Trip 500. This weekend's race marks the first of the season with the new, lower downforce package that Keselowski was a big proponent of, and he responded with a lap of 29.367 seconds around the tough, AMS oval. Joey Logano and the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil team also proved quick on the afternoon as Logano – who raced on the quarter-mile track at AMS in his earliest racing years – finished with a time of 29.374 seconds, good enough for sixth on the starting grid. Ryan Blaney just missed out on the final round of qualifying after a lap of 29.707 seconds in the second round, and will start Sunday's race from the 14th position.
