Recap: Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion team was the fastest group of the day in taking the pole position for Sunday's Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS). Keselowski's lap of 27.881 seconds gave the two-time LVMS winner his 13th career pole award and his first since the spring race at Pocono Raceway last season. Ryan Blaney will start third in the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Tire and Auto Center Ford Fusion after his lap of 29.920 seconds around the 1.5-mile oval. This ties Blaney's career-best starting spot that he also achieved in the spring race at Talladega Superspeedway in 2015. Joey Logano and the No. 22 Pennzoil team also garnered a top 10 starting position and will being the race from the sixth position after his lap of 27.959 seconds.
