Recap: The qualifying session for the Monster Energy All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway is one of the unique events in the sport, with drivers taking three full laps around the 1.5-mile oval including a pit stop that features no speed limit on pit road. The total time it takes to complete all the laps and the pit stop determines your starting position. Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion team narrowly missed the second round of qualifying – by two tenths of a second – and will start the event from the seventh position on Saturday night. Joey Logano looked to have a solid lap going in the first round before sliding through his pit stall, costing precious time. He will begin tomorrow night's event from the 12th position.

Coverage:  The All-Star Race can be seen live tomorrow night at 8 pm ET on FS1, and can be heard on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
