Notes:  All three Team Penske drivers qualified inside the top 12 for one of the most-prestigious races of the year, Sunday night's Bojangles' Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. Brad Keselowski led the way in the throwback No. 2 Miller Genuine Draft Ford Fusion with a lap of 27.924 seconds around the egg-shaped oval. Joey Logano will start eighth in his throwback No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Fusion after a lap of 27.940 seconds. Ryan Blaney rounded out the top 12 with a lap of 28.097 seconds in the final session of qualifying to slot in 12th on the grid with the throwback No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion.
