Recap: Ryan Blaney turned the eighth fastest lap in qualifying with the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion for Sunday afternoon's AAA Texas 500. The eighth place qualifying effort is Blaney's fourth top-ten starting position at Texas Motor Speedway. Penske alliance teammate Brad Keselowski was 10th fastest in the No. 2 Wurth Ford Fusion as he seeks his fourth victory of 2017. Joey Logano and the No. 22 AAA Ford team did not clear tech in time to make a lap and will start 36th.
