Recap: Verizon IndyCar Series point leader Josef Newgarden and the No. 2 DeVilbiss Chevrolet team led the Team Penske contingent in Saturday's qualifying session for the INDYCAR Grand Prix at the Glen at Watkins Glen International and will start third on the grid for Sunday's race. Helio Castroneves will line up the No. 3 Hitachi Chevrolet in the sixth position. Both of those cars reached the final segment of the Firestone Fast 6 session on the 3.37-mile New York road course. Will Power and the No. 12 Verizon Chevrolet will get underway from the eighth position on Sunday while Simon Pagenaud will start the No. 1 Menards Chevy from the 12th starting spot.
