Notes: Ryan Blaney led Team Penske in qualifying for the Saturday night's All-Star race, claiming the sixth-place starting position. Brad Keselowski will start eighth followed by Joey Logano in tenth position. Qualifying for the Open was washed out Friday afternoon giving Paul Menard the fifth-place starting position for Saturday's preliminary event. Practice for the both the Open and All-Star races were hampered rain intermittent rain showers this afternoon at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
