Notes:
During the opening practice session, only the No. 2 Wurth Ford Mustang team made a mock qualifying run, while the No. 12 BodyArmor and No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustangs stayed in race trim throughout the one-hour session. In the final practice session, the majority of the field worked in race style packs, drafting and making passes around the multi-groove Kansas Speedway.

In qualifying, Brad Keselowski led the way for Team Penske, turning the ninth fastest lap, while teammates Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano will share the 10th row to start Saturday night’s 400-mile race.
