June 4, 2008

VALLEY SPRING, Tex. (June 4, 2008) - In conjunction with the upcoming Bombardier Learjet 550k this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, Helio Castroneves, driver of the No. 3 Team Penske Dallara/Honda in the IndyCar Series, visited the Dallas Cowboys practice facility to catch a pre-season workout.

While there, he met with team owner Jerry Jones who presented Helio with a personalized No. 3 Dallas Cowboys jersey. In exchange, Castroneves gave Jones an autographed Texas Motor Speedway helmet.

After practice, Castroneves hit the field for a brief clinic with quarterback Tony Romo and cornerback Terence Newman. Romo connected with Castroneves for one touchdown pass as Newman defended him. The afternoon concluded with Castroneves catching up with Terrell Owens. Castroneves first met Owens at a tennis tournament in Key Biscayne, Fla. this past spring.

Castroneves presented each of the three players with a pair of signed race-worn racing gloves.
