WINNING POLE NOTES
 
·         Today marks Helio Castroneves' first career Verizon P1 Pole Award at Pocono Raceway. 
·         This is Castroneves' ninth career pole award on a superspeedway
·         Castroneves' last pole win was at Iowa Speedway on July 18, 2015.  This is his fourth of the 2015 season.
·         Castroneves now has 45 Verizon P1 Pole Awards in his career, fourth on the all-time list

·         Castroneves will be seeking his first career win at Pocono Raceway.

·         Team Penske has won the Verizon P1 Pole Award in 12 of the 15 Verizon IndyCar Series races this season
