Recap: After lightning caused a lengthy delay in an already wet qualifying session for the Grand Prix of Louisiana, the time trial session was canceled. The field for the inaugural race at NOLA Motorsports Park will line up according to entrant points. That is good news for Team Penske in general and Juan Pablo Montoya in particular, who was awarded the Verizon P1 Pole Award for Sunday's race. Will Power will start second, while Helio Castroneves will start fourth and Simon Pagenaud fifth. These starting positions are a result of the finishing order in the season-opening Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg two weeks ago.
