All three team Penske cars – Newgarden's No. 1 Hitachi Chevrolet, Will Power's No. 12 Verizon Chevrolet and Simon Pagenaud's No. 22 DXC Technology Chevrolet – made it through the first two rounds of qualifying to the Fast Six during an afternoon that was plagued by on-and-off again rain drops. Pagenaud overcame some struggles during the weekend's practice sessions to qualify third, while Power will start fourth on Sunday afternoon.
