AVONDALE, Ariz. (November 8, 2008) – Justin Allgaier, driver of the Penske Racing No. 12 Penske Truck Rental Dodge Charger in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, captured the 20th starting position for the running of the Hefty Odor Block 200 on Saturday, November 8, 2008.

Allgaier, the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series Champion, will be making his third Nationwide Series start for Penske Racing in the No. 12 Dodge this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway. This is Allgaier’s first start at the one-mile flat-track just outside Phoenix, Arizona.

“I’m really glad to have made the race today,” said Allgaier. “It is our third start in three attempts so I pretty happy about that. We made big gains in the car in the past two races but fought tight conditions. Today we were a little loose in qualifying but that isn’t a bad thing heading into the race this afternoon. You need a freer race car here. I think the Penske Truck Rental Dodge will be right where we need it to be in the race today.”
