No. 12 Penske Racing Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger News and Notes
• This Week’s Charger… The No. 12 Verizon Wireless Dodge team will race chassis PRS-021 during Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series event at The Milwaukee Mile. PRS-021 was the primary machine for the team at Phoenix International Raceway in mid-April, but because of damage suffered during a qualifying incident, the Dodge Charger never saw race action.
• Rookie Race… With another top-five performance last Saturday night in Kentucky, driver Justin Allgaier is still battling for Rookie-Of-The-Year honors.  The 23-year-old Riverton Ill. native is currently one point behind rookie leader, Brendan Gaughan, after 14 of 34 events.
• Moving On Up… After last week’s impressive fifth-place finish in Kentucky, Allgaier picked up two spots and now sits sixth in the Nationwide Series driver point standings.
• First-Timer… This will be Allgaier’s first Nationwide Series start at The Milwaukee Mile. The rookie driver has made 10 starts this season at tracks where he has never turned a lap and has produced three top-five and five top-10 finishes at those venues.
• Past Performance… Allgaier has three starts at the one-mile race track located in West Allis, Wisconsin. All three starts came in the ARCA RE/MAX Series as Allgaier recorded one top-five and two top-10 results. His best Milwaukee finish was fourth, which came in 2006.
• Watch and Listen… The NorthernTool.com 250 can be seen live on Saturday, June 20 on ESPN2 with coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as Sirius Satellite Radio, channel 128.

Justin Allgaier on driving at The Milwaukee Mile
“I am looking forward to Milwaukee. It is a great place to race. The track is unique because it is really flat, but you carry a lot of speed into the corners. To be successful, you have to have a car that will really rotate off the throttle and have a lot of forward bite coming off the corners. Most of the passing will be done off the exits. We had a really strong run last weekend in Kentucky with our Verizon Wireless Dodge. We just need to keep this momentum going. We are almost to the halfway point in the season. We will be going back to places for the second time and [crew chief] Chad [Walter] now has a notebook to go off of. We are getting stronger as a team each time we hit the track and I feel like the second half of this season is really going to be strong for the entire Verizon Wireless Dodge team.”

Crew Chief Chad Walter on racing at The Milwaukee Mile
“The key to success at The Milwaukee Mile is being able to roll the center of the corners. The straightaways are very long and the corners are flat. If the car can roll through the center of the corner and Justin [Allgaier] can get it pointed straight and get back to the gas early, we will have a solid night with the Verizon Wireless Dodge. Justin has been working really hard on his qualifying efforts and it has really shown the last couple of weeks. Qualifying is paramount at a place like Milwaukee. It is tough to pass, so the closer we can get to the front, the better off we are going to be. Justin has been to Milwaukee before in an ARCA [RE/MAX] machine, which always plays to our advantage. He knows what lines to take and how the car is going to react. We just need to dial the car in for the race and see what happens.”
