Justin Allgaier on driving at Bristol Motor Speedway
“Bristol is my favorite track on the Nationwide Series schedule. I made my first trip there in the spring and immediately fell in love. It is a place, as a driver, you look forward to racing at. We had a really good run there in the spring and I had never seen the place before. I am expecting better things this weekend now that I have had 300 laps under my belt. I can’t wait to race under the lights. I have been told by other drivers that there is nothing cooler than the Bristol night race. I am ready to experience it for myself.

“We have been getting better as a race team each and every week. In the last month or so, (crew chief) Chad (Walter) and all the guys on the Verizon Wireless Dodge have just been amazing. We have been bringing great cars to the track and it has shown. Every time we go out onto the track we make improvements to the car, which is all I can ask.”

Crew Chief Chad Walter on Racing at Bristol Motor Speedway
“Bristol is a great place to race. It is close racing for 250 laps. As a crew chief, you have to get the car comfortable for the driver to be aggressive every once in a while. The car has to be predictable so when the driver sees an opening he can take it.

“We know we need to get a good starting spot in order to have a strong race. Track position is paramount. You have to keep your car in the lead pack all day to have a shot for the win. I am confident if we stay out of trouble all day we will have another strong run with our Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger.”
