Brad Keselowski on racing at Auto Club Speedway
“It took several Nationwide Series starts at Auto Club Speedway for me to pick up my first top-five. I was finally able to break through in the last race there and now I am ready to go to Victory Lane. We have a good shot at doing that this weekend. Paul Wolfe (crew chief) has the No. 22 America’s Tire Dodge Charger team working well together. We have great power with our Penske Racing engines and our pit crew is as good as any on pit road. Those are two critical areas when racing at Auto Club Speedway because passing can sometimes be difficult, especially if you are stuck in traffic.”

Crew chief Paul Wolfe on preparing a car for Auto Club Speedway
“We want to make sure that we have the No. 22 America’s Tire Dodge Charger turning in the center of the corner and driving well off the corner throughout the race. You need to be pretty precise with the setup because the race can and will stay green for long periods of time. If the car is not handling right you can go lose spots quickly. Aerodynamics are key there too. It’s a very high-speed track, one of the fastest that we will go to all year. Drafting even comes into play, which you don’t think about at places other than Daytona and Talladega.”
