Parker Kligerman on Racing at Talladega Superspeedway

"I am really excited to be going to Talladega Superspeedway. While I do not have much superspeedway experience, I feel like the experience I do have has been good and prepared me well. We are going into this race with the attitude that we need to get comfortable out on the track and try to make some friends out there. By doing well and running a clean race, I hope to show people that we have a good car to run and draft with. Overall, I am anxious to get the Team 42 car back on the track and I am grateful for the opportunity to go racing."

Crew Chief Chris Carrier on Racing at Talladega Superspeedway

"First, it will be great to get back to the race track with Parker in the Nationwide car after a bit of a layoff from racing. We are all eager to make some positive steps and Talladega is as good of a place as any for that to happen. I believe the Team 42 car will be very competitive this weekend. This particular race car has a good track record. At Daytona in February, I felt it was a top 15 car for qualifying, but rain prevailed and took away our chance to compete. This is the same car, same Dodge engine. We have a short list of changes to try during practice to find some more speed. Racing at Talladega is always unpredictable, and a talented young man like Parker in a solid race car has the potential for a great day. Also, having two guys like Justin Allgaier and Brad Keselowski in fast race cars as teammates could be a big plus. One thing is for certain, it will be exciting to watch and fun to be a part of."
